Invertebrae migrate East in Kilome

I had noted this over the last 2 years-movement of MILLIONS of Red Ants (aka ‘siafu’) over 3 days both day and night. I had then asked why? And Where to?

This time, I noted ALL movement was towards East! This included Brown Veined Butterfly’s that are still migrating by the Millions daily! Not only in Kilome, but Nairobi and Machakos.
Where are they coming from? Where are they going? How far do they travel? Is it an annual migration?
