African Black  Eagles of Kilome

souring over us probably looking out for ‘hyrax’ which we had just seen sunbathing, it soon attracts the attention of other birds of prey(raptors) in the vicinity. An alarm call is sounded by one and they all come together – buzzards and falcons.

The Black Eagle quickly makes a turn, flapping its wide wings (about 2 meters wide) and heads straight into its adversaries. They quickly scatter as it takes advantage to disappear over the hills with the other raptors in hot pursuit…

Your Father offering You a Hand

This is specifically to youth of this country. Consider your father has a duty to run and feed his home and has therefore set aside resources to ensure that this is done.
He is willing to assist you up with his resources in exchange for you ensuring you assist him meet his target on time and at the agreed quality!. He is willing to pay ANY one of YOU that will help him complete this work in time and to the required standard. Are you willing to engage him by helping him achieve his target?
The home is your Mother country, Father in that home is the President. Work to be done is building that Nation according to a master plan your father is holding.
Since your father can’t be everywhere, he has assigned oversight duties to people he trusts ie ministers/cabinet secretaries. Each has set up systems in their work places to ensure tasks are completed as agreed (even time wise). They have also set up notice boards ie websites, that keep you informed of what they are doing, where they are, and where they have opportunities for you to help them achieve targets at a profit to you through a process known as tendering.
In some instances your father has realised you don’t have the financial muscle to execute the work to standard before payments and has set up a fund – structured (with guidelines/rules) to ensure that only those who deliver benefit from it to execute work.
What more can a child ask of his father?

Train Services to Kilome

image

One can ride a passenger train then alight at Konza,  ulu, kiu or sultan Hamud stations choosing to either be met by host or take a boda boda(motorcycle taxi) to destination.
Question being asked is with konzacity set to be launched this month(January), will they extend the syokimau station services to konza?
There is also talk of a standard gauge rail set to be laid parallel to mombasa road to allow faster trains be used. How prepared are business people & locals for that improved access network in the region.?
How adventurous and entrepreneural are Kenyans planning to be towards the great opportunity here to access Kenya’s first inland settlement after coast for Europeans settlers. Opportunities here include tracing how these settlers arrived, settled, and even moved about before Kenya imported it’s 1st car. Other opportunities include agriculture(macademia nuts, mango, cowpea[kunde’kenyan’],ovacado & lemon trade).
As Ranches broke up a number of importers sought land for inland container depots-this presents opportunities in import, clearence, security and transport businesses amoung other opportunities.
What of filming opportunities…

Train services(passenger) depart Nairobi every monday, wednesday, and Friday at 7:00pm, arriving Kilome after 2hrs enroute to Mombasa.
