Sitted amongst the dry vegetation on the ground it’s almost unoticable. As you approach it, it Squint’s its eyes the main thing that gives away it’s presence.

Welcome to the world of Dusky Nightjars in Kilome. When disturbed it let’s out a soft whistle sound. Sitting still all day in vegetation that resembles its body pattern it takes to flight at dusk to feed on insects

Terrestrial Brownbul became Kilome’s 168 bird species siting. Seen in the images above is the Terrestrial Brownbul, purple grenadier, bare eyed thrush, common bulbul, the Red-cheeked Cordon Bleu, yellow fronted canary and black faced waxbill
